3rd Annual Italian American Heritage Fest promises food, culture and family fun

Eventfully Yours International and Celebrations Italian Style will present the Third Annual Italian American Heritage Festival, noon to 6 p. M.

Committee members are hard at work coordinating Italian car displays, Italian lessons on the lawn, an Italian hoagie contest for area delis and restaurants and Grandmom Mary's Sweet Table Contest for grandmothers, moms, daughters, and even dads who'll be able to enter their biscottis or pizzelles. There will be three live stage areas plus a taste tempting array of Italian foods and fun activities for all ages.

Festival Executive Producer, Barbara Ann Zippi and Festival producers Rose Vaccone and Charlotte Higler are looking forward to a bigger and better Festival than ever before.

Joining the festival's grand opening celebration to commemorate National Italian Republic Day, La Festa della Republica, will be Italy's Consul General On.

"We have a day of fun planned for the entire family," said Zippi. Amato Berardi, Senator Domenic Pileggi and Delaware County Council Vice Chairman Mario Civera.

People, near and far, are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets along with their extended families and friends for a memorable afternoon of fun and activities. of Philadelphia, Camera dei Deputatib On. Admission is free.

Another new feature this year is the Lawn Bocce Tournament.
